How to pick a degree?

The best way for you to answer that is to answer these questions:

1. Is there a specific degree I have in mind?
2. How long do I want to go to school?
3. Financially, what can I afford.

The most important question in that list – and the one that will greatly affect how you may think about the others – is the second question: What do I want to do?

There are many great careers that may require only a certificate. However, most jobs that pay more than minimum wage require a college degree, experience, and training.
